Ride a Dino Beginner Guide: Your First Training and Riding Loop
A first-session route for training Grip, practising canyon rides, taming dinosaurs and checking your ranch.
§Open the correct experience#
Check the creator: this game is made by and Catch Them All, and its Place ID is 93523763376122. Its description starts with stampeding dinosaurs and canyon rides.
A game by Dino Riders! also uses this name. Its hidden eggs and speed mutations do not establish mechanics in this experience.

§1. Get a training baseline#
The official starting instructions name Dino Machines as the way to build Grip. Find the machine area and follow the interaction prompt visible on your device. Note the displayed Grip before and after a short session.
Check that the stat changes. If it does not, reread the prompt and confirm you are interacting with the machine. Desktop, console and touch inputs have not been independently tested.
§2. Practise a canyon ride#
The developer describes leaping onto a stampeding dinosaur and riding the canyon. Follow the in-game tutorial for the mount action. On your first run, focus on the ride sequence and the feedback shown when you attempt a tame.
If the run ends early, train again and retry a comparable target. Change one thing at a time so you can judge whether additional Grip or better timing helped. This routine assumes no fixed Grip threshold.
§3. Confirm the dinosaur is home#
The description connects taming and collection with bringing dinosaurs back to your ranch. After a successful collection, inspect the ranch to confirm the dinosaur is present. Read the options offered by the pen.
Pens can be upgraded, and the ranch earns cash while you ride. Check the current cost and stated effect before spending. Observe one upgrade at a time so you can tell what changed.
§4. Choose one goal for the next loop#
Work toward one result: a more reliable ride, a new collection entry or exploration. Train when Grip is the limiting factor, and inspect your pens when the next purchase concerns the ranch.
Save focused Secret hunting until the ordinary loop feels repeatable. Their occasional appearance is confirmed, but exact schedules, locations and appearance rates remain unverified.
